Junior Lifeguard Registration Opens
The Manhattan Beach Junior Lifeguard program is one of the most popular summer activities for youth in the South Bay. Registration opens in early March for the summer program.
Open to ages 9-17, the program teaches ocean safety, swimming skills, first aid, and rescue techniques. Participants must pass a swim test, which is typically held in March and April.
The program runs throughout the summer and includes beach activities, competitions, and valuable life skills that participants carry with them forever.
